ASUS gives ZenWatch to the world
ASUS announced its first smartwatch. This Android Wear-powered ZenWatch is furnished with square 1.63-inch, 320 x 320 touchscreen, the top whereof is covered by 2.5D curved Gorilla Glass 3. ZenWatch timepiece features a genuine stitched-leather strap and aquick-release clasp out of the box, a curved stainless-steel case with rose-gold-colored band.
ZenWatch has mostly the same specs as LG G Watch and G Watch R: 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400, 512MB of RAM and 4GB of storage. It also has a 1.4Wh battery, Bluetooth 4.0 (duh), a microphone and a bio sensor. What is important, ZenWatch meets the IP55 standards.
Moreover, ASUS preloaded some useful functions for your convenience. Watch Unlock ensures unlocking of your phone or tablet by touching the face. Tap Tap allows to change over the functions. Besides, they added some other services, which need no comments: Cover to Mute, Find My Phone, Remote Camera and Presentation Control. Also, the device offers such features as heart rate tracking, step counting, and determination of relaxation level. Afterwards, you may get some advices on further improvements with your health. To take advantage of these features, you should first install theZenWatch Manager phone app, allowing to sync with your smartphone. Furthermore, you will need to download the Remote Camera app and the ASUS Remote Link app to your phone.
