A guy named RevarBat created a model of 3D printer, most of details for which were obtained using another 3D printer. In other words, a printer has printed another printer.
In addition to 61 plastic details, some glass, a bearing, an engine, a power supply and some electronics were also used for creation of the printer Snappy. To replace the fixture, RevarBat provided multiple latches. The work area of the printer is a cube with an edge of 19 cm. The speed is 60 mm per second.
To demonstrate the features of his device, the creator published a video, where the printer itself prints one of its parts. The total cost of Snappy was $300, and $85 of them had went to buy plastic.
