The world first Olympic Games for robots will take place in the end of next year in Dubai. The revolutionary event will be held once every two years and will involve such “sports” like driverless car racing, running, robotic swimming, table tennis and soccer, wrestling, cybathlon competition and other.
The Games are a pretty ambitious looking plan, but if there’s anywhere that could host, it’s Dubai. The world’s first World Drone Prix went off without a hitch and saw a 15-year-old British boy Luke Bannister winning a giant money prize.
No one can guarantee that the Games will be successful. However financial possibilities and powers of the Dubai leaders promise the event to be an unforgettable and important experience in the world of modern technology and artificial intelligence. The future is finally here.
