YouTube has announced that it now supports HDR videos. HDR (or High Dynamic Range) has been getting a lot of attention lately since both the Xbox One S and the upcoming PlayStation 4 Pro support it. Now that YouTube videos support HDR content, it means that those with HDR-capable consoles will be able to show the world what these new systems are capable of.

At CES 2016 Lenovo have unveiled an X1 systems portfolio. Top billing is given to the modular ThinkPad X1 Tablet. The tablet can be expanded and adapted for use in three different positions. Functional modules of the tablet can be clipped to the bottom edge:

- Productivity Module that extends the maximum battery life from 5 to up to 15 hours of permanent work. It also features an HDMI port and full-sized USB 3.0 port.

- Presenter Module, which houses a pico projector and HDMI port able to produce a 60-inch image.

- 3D Imaging Module with an Intel RealSense 3D camera to scan real-world objects in 3D.

At the same time Lenovo offers an optional ThinkPad keyboard dock with a TrackPoint system and stylus. Moreover the tablet has been designed to be extremely tough – it has passed more than two hundred Lenovo stress tests.

The technical specs of Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Tablet are as follows: 12-inch screen with resolution of 2160x1440 pixels, IPS, 216 ppi, 8 and 2 megapixel of the main and front-facing camera correspondingly. The tablet is powered by Intel's Core m7 vPro processor of the latest generation. It also has up to 16GB of RAM, and up to 1TB of storage and supports wireless docking stations with USB 3.0 and USB Type-C. Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Tab features WiGig wireless docking for a cable-free desk environment and Mini DisplayPort. The WiGig Dock supports the 802.11ad wireless format. Lenovo offers LTE Advanced support for even faster wireless connectivity. The Windows 10-based ThinkPad X1 Tablet itself weighs only 795 g. Its dimension is 291,5 x 209,5 x 13 mm.

The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Tablet should be available since February for $900 and up. The optional modules range in price from about $150 to $280.
