Scientists from Russia Claim Teleportation Could Soon Be a Reality

A team working for Russian President Vladmir Putin shocks the world by claiming teleportation technology could be operational by 2035. The Kremlin plans setting aside £1.1billion to fund an inter-agency group called the "National Technology Initiative" (NTI), which will work using a technique called quantum communications infrastructure.

It also includes creating a new Russian computer programming language, secure cybernetic communications, quantum computing, and communication between computers and human brains. This is a wider project, with a total budget of £1.4trillion, has been described as a “road map” for developing Russia's cybernetics market.

All this research comes after attempts to download personalities and memories to computer to create virtual avatars of people which could live on after they have died.

Dr Alexander Szameit, a Russian technology investor said that, while it may not be possible to teleport actual solid particles, it is possible to their teleport their properties from one place to another.

"It sounds fantastical today, but there have been successful experiments at Stanford at the molecular level. Much of the tech we have today was drawn from science fiction films 20 years ago."

But earlier in 2016, German researchers announced they discovered a method of teleporting information about solid particles using a laser beam.
