WhatsApp is tipped to add a new feature to its iPhone app that will let you edit and revoke sent messages. The upcoming feature is said to be disabled by default for WhatsApp for iPhone beta app users though we can expect it to be available soon. Another tipped feature is the ability to preview shared archive files, such as ZIP and RAR files.

Using smartphones to measure how much time people spend looking at those phones confirms that more screen-time is tied to poorer sleep, researchers say.

"This is the first study to directly measure actual screen time in natural environments and compare it to sleep quality," said senior author Dr. Gregory M. Marcus of the University of California, San Francisco. "We did not rely on participant self-report, but rather utilised a mobile app that ran in the background and could capture exact screen time duration."

Google launched its Flight Search service in India at the beginning of this year. Since then, the company has further optimised its results to allow users to track fare changes for particular flights and get a notification if the rates increase or decrease through email and Google Now cards. Now, the search giant has updated its Flight Search to provide users with notifications about expected price changes while booking tickets based on historical trends.

Instant messaging platform WhatsApp on Wednesday opposed in Delhi High Court a plea alleging that privacy of its users has been threatened by a new privacy policy announced by Facebook, saying regulations were in place and the latter does not have access to any data as it provides end-to-end encryption.

WhatsApp had made extensive changes to its privacy policy on August 25, the first time since it was acquired by Facebook, giving users the option of sharing their account information with the social network giant. The messaging service gave its users 30 days till September 25 to opt out of the policy.
