Google is gearing up for a whopper of an event.
On October 4, the company is expected to announce several new hardware products, ranging from smartphones to speakers to a new intelligent router.

Cisco made an announcement that the 3rd Internet of Things World Forum 2015, which took place in Dubai, with over 2000 people attending, was a resounding success.
The Forum emphasized on 3 themes, with keynotes by industry experts and leaders:
Rabih Dabboussi, GM of Cisco UAE, said that it was clear to him that the IoT and innovation in the industry were changing society already. He described the atmosphere as exciting, inspiring and revealing.
Over 25 customers talked about the IoT. Attendees experienced the development of Dubai’s education, healthcare and transport systems hands-on. This included a bus tour to the design district to view the advances in technology and communication, in which the Chairman of the Cisco board John Chambers met with leaders of the country, media and customers in order to speak about the opportunities IoT creates.

The closing ceremony celebrated the Forum’s success as well as the winners of the sub-events in the forum.

Crowd: 5/10. Morning time is the best time to come.
Found new gadgets: 6/10. Was expecting more gadgets to be released at the opening.
Prices: 6/10. Lots of online shops will be selling same devices much cheaper
Exhibitors: 6/10. Lots of makers (Sony, Apple, Panasonic, MSI) and retailers (Axiom, Ecity) didn't appear this year at Gitex.
Raffles: 9/10. Lots of raffles and lots of chances to win excellent prizes
Atmosphere: 8/10. Lots of entertainment
Access: 7/10. Got lost while trying to find the counters. Spent 25 minutes while getting from parking to the exhibition.
Overall impression: 6.72/10.
Conclusion: 2014 Gitex was more attracting, however it is still worth of going there!
